The Querceto Tuscan Red displays all aspects of the Tuscan countryside – where the various terrain, the luscious hills of Chianti and Valdarno, and optimal sun exposure come together.

The Merlot & Syrah are produced in the Valdarno hills where the soil is rich in marlstone and clay; the sun is notably bright, but nights are cool – important for optimum ripening of these grapes.

The Sangiovese is planted at the highest elevation of the Chianti region. This wine expresses the fresh scents and balanced flavors associated with the vineyards of Castello di Querceto.

These elements combined with the natural influence of the lake produce an exceptional Merlot.
